      Ultralife Batteries Receives $2.9 Million in Military Battery Orders

    NEWARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 27, 2006--Ultralife Batteries,
Inc. (NASDAQ: ULBI) has received orders for military batteries valued
at approximately $2.9 million from an undisclosed military
organization. Deliveries are expected to begin immediately and be
completed this month.

    "Many military organizations are rapidly recognizing the superior
performance of our products," said John D. Kavazanjian, Ultralife's
president and chief executive officer. "These orders underscore both
the growing popularity of our products and our ability to promptly
produce and deliver advanced batteries to serve demanding military
applications."
